Joyo Umeshu - 720ml
Joyo Umeshu is a beautiful Umeshu (also falsely called plum wine) from Kyoto. Beautiful balance between sweet and sour with refreshing tones of lime, rhubarb and apricot and at the same time lush sweet by notes of food, mango and currants. This Umeshu is made with a mix of at least 3 years of ripened fruits and small part of fresh fruits which gives the refreshing tastes. The Ume Fruit comes exclusively from the 'Aodani Ume Grove' located next to the brewery in the town of Joyo. Delicious with desserts, cakes, rhubarb and blue -molded cheese or just second after a meal. This Joyo Umeshu is best served at room temperature or cold in a guinomi, possible with ice.

Made by both unripe and ripe Ume from Nishiyoshino, Nara prefecture, to be used and pulling them in Umenoyado-Sake. When drinking, the refreshing aroma of plum blossom spreads through the mouth and the unique taste of sake is preserved as a persistent aftertaste.
