Sekaiitto started brewing Sake in 1884 in Wakayama city, Japan. Their slogan is “ Beyond deliciousness” and their name stands for "Unifying the sake world".
Wakayama is the so called fruit basket of Japan and Sekaiitto is one of the most famous companies worldwide for producing fruit liquors based on sake and shochu.
Not only the brewery is famous for all kinds of fruit liquors, also their sake is regarded as high quality. Combining craftsman and science under the inspiration of Kumagusu Minakata, a well-known biologist who studied fungi and algae, the quality of their products keep on rising, Toji Kumagusu Minakata keeps on surprising the world with each new brew he puts on the market.
