Kitakata Terroir Episode IV - Junmai Daiginjo - 720ml
Kitakata Terroir Episode IV
Junmai Daiginjo is the crown jewel of the Episode series and created again with
Yamada-nishiki from Kitakata. It is striking how much difference there is
between the rice grown here and that from the cradle of Yamada-Nishiki Hyogo.
The water that is used also plays a major role in this.
On the nose, exotic tropical fruits such as persimmon, pomegranate and mango.
The pallet is soft, friendly with a lively taste characterized by several
layers that emerge each time, the finish is long and refreshing.
A varied cheese platter or a Japanese dinner are perfect for this sake.
Ultimate enjoyment served cold in Sophienwald special sake glass by the
fireplace is certainly an option.
