Ordering, Delivery & Returns
Order your sake online at Sake.nl, where your order will be carefully packed and shipped through our distribution network. Since we pay close attention to our products and like to do everything properly, we usually dispatch our products daily. This way, you won’t have to wait long for your order.
Ordering
Each product on our website has an order button. Once clicked, the item is placed in the shopping cart. In the cart, you can pay for the product(s) and shipping costs using iDeal, PayPal, Bancontact, and SOFORTBanking. After payment, you will receive a confirmation email with an order summary and an order number. If you have an account on our website, you can view your order under 'Orders'.
We ship our products in specially designed bottle packaging with extra thick walls to prevent any damage during shipping. Your order is always carefully packed and shipped via our eco-friendly distribution network.

Delivery
Your products will be delivered to the address you provide. The courier will ask for a signature upon receipt and possibly for identification, as the minimum age for purchasing alcohol is 18 years.
Taxes & Duties
Shipping costs are automatically added to your cart at checkout. However, any applicable taxes or customs duties are not included in the price and must be paid by the buyer. All orders are shipped on a "duties and taxes unpaid" basis. For further details, please check with your local customs authority.
Breakage
Upon receiving your product, we ask that you inspect it for any breakage and/or damage. If this is the case, you can accept the package and immediately contact our customer service. Breakages must be reported within 24 hours. Upon providing a damage report, completed by the courier, we can proceed with compensation or replacement.

Ownership of Goods
All items delivered and to be delivered by us remain our property until all claims we have or will have against the buyer, including interest and costs, have been paid in full.
Complaints Procedure
Should you unfortunately have a complaint about a bottle of sake purchased from us, you can first contact our service desk via our contact page. Your complaint will then be processed as soon as possible. Normally, it will take a few working days to provide a correct response.
Cancellation
You can always cancel your order by phone, up until 5:00 PM on the day of the order (if it is not a working day, then the next working day). If you wish to cancel after this, your right of withdrawal will be forfeited.
