Garyubai Homare-Fuji is a wonderful complex rich sake with notes of honey, melon and pear, an intensive well -balanced taste and a super finish.
Very good to combine with steamed or pecked vegetables, but also a combination with soft cheeses such as brie are recommended.
This sake is best served cold in a Sophienwald sake glass or a white wine glass.

Sanwa Shuzo, opgericht in 1686, bevindt zich op Shinto-heiligdom in de stad Shimizu in de prefectuur Shizuoka, in de schaduw van het Fuji gebergte. Shimizu City is in de sake wereld beroemd om zijn waterkwaliteit. Volgens de legende bad de oprichter Ichibei Suzuki tijdens een volle maan tot de riviergod om kwaliteitswater dat geschikt is om sake mee te brouwen. Er wordt gezegd dat de riviergod oprichter Ichibei naar een draakvormige boom aan de voet van de berg Asama leidde en hem wenkte om daar te beginnen met bouwen van de brouwerij.
