Only 1500 bottles were made of this sake, with only 36 ending up in Europe.
The Sake belonged to the group of Super Junmai Daiginjo because of the low polishing content of the rice, a non -official title that has been recognized by experts. In the nose, this very complex sake has many different fruit and floral tones where pear, melon, orange, anise and fennel come out the most. When you taste the sake you notice the layers of different flavors that continue to follow each other. This is also a sake that can be carafed to make the different flavor components come forward faster, but our preference is based on serving in the special Sophienwald sakeglass. Finally, there is a wonderfully nice pure pure aftertaste that lingers nicely.
A sake to enjoy with close family and/or best friends.
This sake can best be served around 12 degrees in the special Sophienwald sakeglass.
